I like to play unplugged
BUT i miss some ... yes what is it? ... reverb, chorus, delay? I am not sure because very unexperianced with amps
- Yes i could get a big amp with all effects and so on but i want to be mobile (play in the park)
- Yes i could get such a little jarbottle or cigarboxamps but i want those effects (that sound i hear often in recordings of others)
I dont need to be loud i want the sound
Small and light is apreciated, low cost even more ;-)
I even thought about using my smartphone and an app
... i need Help!
What mobile amp can YOU recommenmd?

Take a look at the Roland Micro Cube amp. A friend of mine has one. Good sound, small and has lots of effects built in. Only problem is that it isn't cheap, but to be honest quality rarely is.
roland micro cube , or the line 6 micro spider .. it even has a serrate pa mic amp ontop . and acoustic mode. with tons of f effects .
*separate
i have a Roland MicroCube. . there are a couple of models and i got the older one on ebay for $75AUD so $50 ish USD? takes batteries or a wall wart.. only thing is you can have delay OR reverb but not both. not sure if the Line 6 has this limitation..but its also a great little amp.
Vox Mini 5 Rhythm has (as you might expect) built in rhythms, plus a separate mic input. Not tried one but it may be worth a look. Good luck with your quest :-)
thanks to all of you, those minis and cubes look nice to have
another question:
what about a realy smal light amp (more or less just a speaker) but a modeler like the line6 pocket (or something like that) in between, ... does such a thing make sense?
- i really would like it lightweight
- and it would be nice to have many sounds, rhythm and drums .... but id be happy with one good sound for my CBG
- my budget is realy smal
You have 3 choices: Roland MicroCube, Roland MicroCube or Roland MicroCube. Don't mess around, don't think about it, just buy a Roland MicroCube.
Or go on eBay (other s/h gear sites are available) and check out used MicroCubes. I marginally prefer my VX1, but it has to be plugged in...
Seasick Steve uses a MicroCube. Nuff said.
He used to use Roland Cube 30 watt, which is similar in terms of the modelling and effects but a lot bigger and more powerful.
They seem great but to heavy and expensive ;-)
and one more questions
- what about those Vox amplugs combined with a smal speaker?
. or those jambottleamps combinied with some effects?
it surely would be great to have many features but the 2 first priorities are weight and price
oh my, i really dont know anything about this and theres another question, can i also play acoustic guitars over it? or only electric?
I've been off and done some research. There's your MicroCube, or a Vox Mini 3 which looks lighter and a little cheaper. Got a rudimentary drum machine, port for mic and another for a mobile device. You pays your money and you takes your choice as they say in these parts...
You cannot realistically go portable with effects add-ons ime- you need battery packs, pedal board and a mile of wire. Good luck!
