This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Reworking an attempt at a bass CB Uke into a long-scale baritone. In the middle of fretting a lacewood fretboard for a new tenor DB Uke (it's a redwood date box, therefore a DB Uke, not a CB Uke, ha).

And like Richard and Paul said, lots of parts and pieces and, "Oh, THAT'S where my combo square was."

I actually just clogged the filter on my industrial sized shop vac, took cleaning it thoroughly before I could finish removing all the saw dust. Hoffa's probably in here somewhere.

But having all my tools put back in place and shop cleaned up is good for a lot less colorful language while working when I'm looking for something lol

Been there and done that.

It should have a SWEET TONE Lane. ;)

Finishing up a 3 string, Jaime Garcia, box. 25.5" scale, ebony stained oak neck, natural oak fret board (fretless), chrome tuners, 3/8" all-thread nut, GDG tuning, and I replaced the staple hinges with brass screw hinges.

Next up is a thinner Alec Bradley, Texas Lancero, box.

I also make clocks out of smaller boxes.

Hey, so do I, cool! I also make those large reclaimed wood board clocks.

Scott, Here's an idea I'll share with you since you make boxes like I do, buy old beat up but functioning music boxes, or goofy looking music boxes no one wood really want beyond the age of 3, replace the box with your box of any style, you'll sell them all like hot cakes and for a reasonable profit as well.

Rich

A clock is a good idea.

Hope everybody is okay today, I just had to take shelter from a Tornado that passed 1 mile north of me.

Woah! Hope everyones ok Paul

Didn't touch down, just passed overhead so everybody is fine. Thanks for asking Mike.

Haven't done squat with my diddley bass build... But I found a tool bag, a tool sorter that fits on a 5 gallon bucket, a metal toolbox (filled w/ junk and parts and tools), and a Plano parts sorter box, all at one rummage sale!!! Didn't need the toolbox at all, but it was like new, and the guy said he sell it for $5 if I took everything in it... LOL Deal!

Already cleaned the tool bag, a little Dawn and water and scrubbing and it looks new, and it fits my two dremels and all the attachments. I'm all set for joining the Makerspace nearby this week. Be easy to get parts for gits back and forth. Building soon! Good feeling.

Soumds like a good haul over the weekend then, i managed to find an old license plate, a couple of files, a pair of cutters perfect for fretting and a irwin clamp at the flea market. Finally goimg to check out our local makerspace tonight but need to go home and load the car with material first ☺
