I'd love to get a case for my new CBG. I have a bunch of Christmas gift cards for Amazon and would love to use them to buy a case. I found this, but have no idea if my CBG will fit into it. I just sent this link to the guy building my CBG to inquire. Has anyone else been able to use a standard ukulele case for their CBG?

Bummer! My CBG builder just wrote me and said the Uke cases are too small. He said, "...overall length wll be about 34 to 36 inches and width will be about 10 to to 12 inches." He recommended finding a local carpenter to build me one.

So again, where can you get a nice inexpensive case for these things? I don't think I want a bag case. I want something more solid. I did find a builder of these cases, but he wanted almost $200. That's how much I'm paying for my CBG. Really don't want to spend more than $100.

One of my customers bought a padded gig bag for his CBG, he did not know what it was originally meant for. I suspect it may have been for a baritone uke.
But it would depend on the scale/neck length of the CBG.

These are the dimensions I was given by the guy who's building my CBG:

34"-36" in length x 10"-12" in width

Yep baritone uke is around 30". I was going to use a standard oblong electric guitar case' and fit two CBG's  in it, but my box's are too high. Yours may fit height wise.

I don't know... I've got a red Brickhouse CBG on order. I'm thinking the box is too thick for a standard guitar case.

for a short term solution, use the shipping box your new CBG arrives in, some low tension exercise bands should keep the flaps closed if you are careful opening it.

3/4 size guitar gig bags work. I brought back 3 strapped together like that on an international flight last year with no prob.

Keyboard cases, ar-15 cases work...

So does a fender mini urban strat case... musicians friend has them for like $40 if I remember right.

I found a soft U-bass bag that my CBG just fits into.
