that looks awesome  man .    nice warm   old  church pew  feel  to  it  . !

That's really cool!

Nice I like it, it  looks cool!

when I made it I wanted to have that worn look, what you see on the neck is not frets but tooth picks glued and rubbed flat.,going to changed that bolt though it doesnt look right.lol

thanks for your kind comments much appreciated.

Great lookin' git. I like the screen behind the F holes. If you're changing the bolt, a brass bolt would look purty.

That's a good looking guitar John only spoiled by that bolt

He will love it, looks cool like it needs to be played.

I call BS. That is an absolutely stunning git, mackay! Your nevvie is gonna die when he sees and plays this.

thanks for the compliment.I dont know about you guys but I'm always looking to make that EXTRA special guitar, thought I had with this one(olive wood).

I'm always searching for that ONE! lol I like the sunburst finish but seem that I'm not quite there yet.

in second picture that is what sort of finnish I like but how???

There are a some videos showing how to do sunburst type looks, if I remember right they used water based stain.

I did a fade on a bow one time, just started with a small amount of stain on a cloth and kept starting where I wanted it dark and wiping towards the light area. Wiped in the reverse direction with a clean cloth. Lots of light layers made the transition more even. If you can, mess around with some scraps or whatever is handy.

did this  "bruised apple burst"   by   just painting the middle red and  cardboard shielding  and side spraying the edge  method .

That's a nice looking git!  I think your nephew will be proud to own it.
