So I had the expert banjo player next door try out my three string and four string cbg and it was like a duck to water
He thought there would be a better sound if the bridge design were to a point and not flat bone. Anybody tried this and if so with good results how can they Benadryl?
Thanks

Where did you find them at or are they hand made?

I make them...available in my online shop.

Fretwire bridges were very common on 1930s floating bridge parlor guitars, and I got the idea for the string spacing slots from the 1930s Harmony guitars which I have thru' my workshop from time to time.

I make quite a few at a time....just made another batch of 200 or so of them, different sorts including bridges for 6 strings and plain wooden bridges...here's a few of the previous batch...

Lots of choices. You could also scroll threw the pictures on this site to see what everyone is using.

CBJ makes good stuff... Lately, I've been using a banjo style bridge made from 1/4" Jatoba.  That wood is amazingly hard.  I angle the top, a little bit like a commercial nut, and hollow out the center on my belt sander.  (2 contact points).  They work great to my ear.

Wow, CBJ, I have used fret wire saddles but adding the spacer at the same time is a great idea!!

The KonaBlaster electric uke uses a .50 caliber shell as the bridge. (They had problems at first because all the gunpowder hadn't been removed. Talk about blasting!) Intonation is reportedly quite good and the broad radius shouldn't compromise the string. But, being a cheap guy, I might just use a fat metal paper clip instead. A few bridges could be cut from each clip.

This seems better Tham my lego bridge.
