W/ an electric guitar neck.
And how you braced it,if possible.
I did one w/ a mini strat and monte christo box.Box was shallow enough I just bolted it on a 1x3 glued to the box w/ a neck plate.Need to wire it,but its all pre-wired.Needs a fret dress and a couple tweaks but it tunes and plays.
I'll get a pic up in a few, also working on this cohiba gigante w/ a Jackson style neck.I think I'm just going to run 2 piezos under the bridge and keep the top totally clean.
I use strat style hardtail bridges.Like $5 on ebay.Eventually will do one w/ a t-o-m bridge and trapeze tailpiece, got too many going on right now.

I'll start
Yeah I know it is,but I like diversity.Actually I saw a couple on ebay that were pretty nice that inspired me.The 2 I posted started out as typical 4 bangers, but I got a little funny w/ the dremel after too many cold ones,so I just opened up the neck slot and stuck a 6 string neck on them.
I attempted a six string some time ago but turned out not too good - much better results with this one, and sounds clear as a bell like a strat should sound, but with a little extra zing from a Flatpup 6, acoustic and clean amp sound is amazing, but my 4 strings sound more defined on dirty.
I mounted the neck exactly as it would be on a solid body using a laminated hardwood block along the length of the box using a Fender style mounting plate, also exactly to the same dimensions as a Strat with a Strat copy hardtail mounted on the rear of the box screwed into the laminated block, Strat style tuners and string trees complete the job, tuned to GDGBGd.
I've since moved the Flatpup 6 nearer the neck to improve the sound and removed the pick guard.
That's kinda how I see it,if I can salvage I do.Or cannibalize!
My most recent 6 strings...

Slanting pickups. It all has to do with how the strings resinate. The farther from the bridge the wider the string vibrates. The wider the vibration the deeper the tone. Hence the difference in sound between the neck and bridge pickup. Angling a pickup from the lower strings to the higher. Having the lower side closer to the neck. This will give you a slightly deeper tone on your lower strings. A slightly brighter tone on your higher strings.
On an acoustic guitar, even an electric, if you pick the strings close to the bridge you'll hear a bright, twangy tone. Pick it right at the neck and your tone will be deeper. Moving your hand around you can get different tones out of the same guitar.
I'm reworking my rusty rat box. Added a fretboard. I got a Duncan Cool Rails I'm going to angle low to high. Never played on a guitar set up this way. Wanna know what it'll sound like.
Phrygian's got it right.
I'm not always the best at explaining things. Sorry about that. The volume of the strings will be the same. Nor would the emphasis of any individual string change. The tone of the strings it what will be different. If you have a pickup straight across the pickup will have a narrow band of tone. To demonstrate that pick guitar strings in a straight line next to the neck. Each will have relatively the same tone. If you angle the pickup, from low to high you increase the overall bandwidth the pickup is exposed to. Pick next to the neck on your highest string and pay attention to it's tone. Now pick on the same string 3 inches closer to the bridge. Notice the tone has become brighter. Now if your pickup is angled the lower string will have it's original low tone. As you go up in strings each will have a progressively brighter tone.
