I'm looking to purchase or commission a cigar box baritone uke (with a pickup). Does anyone have one they are selling? willing to sell? willing to build for me? It's been a difficult search so far looking online. Thanks for your help!

Hiya..I can make one for you..I've made a few ukes, so no problem there!

I have something 3/4 done  PM requesr sent........Mungo Park

I have a concert ready go, and 6 string resonator (3 pair) that can be converted fairly quickly. I can build one up from scratch in a few weeks. Mine are shaped bodies though, I don't do boxes unless commisioned as such.

Hi, K B .    I'm surprised you haven't had more people respond to your post.  Never fear, we are here to help.    At the top of this page you will find  "Groups" , click it .   When in "Groups" sort alphabetical .   I found the Cigar Box Ukulele group on page 3.   From there you can join the group and put up your baritone cigar box uke post   OR  just cruise around the site , you can even check out different members in the group , and check out their photos of builds !  I think most people leave their site open on here .   We like to share !    I hope your uke is there waiting for you !        For what it's worth.....many four string cigar box guitars are strung with  D , G , B and E strings .( The last four strings used on a standard guitar.)     The same standard tuneing as a baritone uke !    Some builders build their cigar box guitars using smaller scales.  The baritone uke is a 19 inch scale .    I've built 20 inch scale cigar box guitars , and other builders have too .  So there wouldn't be much difference in size !              Good luck in your search .

talk to Harrison Withers he makes a really nice one at a reasonable price
