Darryl, thank you so much! It reminds me of some song too, but I couldn't figure out what. Not being a big blues aficionado myself, I'm not sure what tune that's sounding like. It's some sort of up tempo blues. At any rate I look forward to playing with it more to fill it out and polish it up. Since I usually don't connect much with playing the blues, I was surprised when this came out of my fingers. I was like, where'd that come from?! I actually asked my husband, "what style of music is this? Is this the blues?" Hahah! ;) I just love playing, though. It feels good. I'm excited to keep growing. I want to get better at it.

Thank you SmilingDog! :) That's my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I built a power soak for it about 14 years ago, so I can really get sweet tube tone at lower volume. Glad I learned how to solder back then, because it's really helpful now that I'm into cbg's. It's almost shocking to me how good that rod piezo sounds on this guit. It gives me the best Money for Nothing distortion through the Roland Micro Cube, too. It's surprising, but I'm taking it as a gift from above & enjoying it!
