thanks Jim, yeah there were a group of football lads that were quite loud. Looked like a fight was going to break out at one point, but the landlord sorted them out! Oh no blender noise sounds like a pain : -/

 Ah I saw that amp a while ago, and couldn't believe it would be as loud as it said. I may ask Oily about it...

Very nicely done Be. It's always fun competing with bar conversations. I used to play at a Tiki Lounge and the noise from the blenders making pina coladas and margaritas would drown me out. At least nobody was hollering "Freebird!"

Sounds great and glad that it went well !  Sorry I missed the gig as it's only 4 miles down the road :-\  Brain fade, trying to spin too many plates at the moment. 

Have you seen these ?  I think that Oily has one of their amps and reckons it's pretty loud:
