    Thanks for your thoughts, Keni. Oddly enough, I actually tried that for this... didn't achieve quite the

   effect I required for the subject matter running through my mind, but it's definitely stored  away for later!

Yes, this is a very nice performance. Although, you are playing a minor blues. Try playing in the same tuning, but utilize the major third to create only the tension "between" major and minor third. Bukka White typically played slide guitar, in an open tunings. He used a crossnote tuning in E minor. http://youtu.be/GHsRrq1i0lo This way, you can play both a minor blues and a major blues using the same exact tuning. Pretty cool. Enjoy.
