Thanks Jason, you don't have to look to far into his lyric to feel the dark simplicity and mixed with the drop D riffs it was just great music.

Nice cover!  I am struggling with his death.  He defines my college years and his voice gives me chills.  He was everything I wanted a rock star to be.  I saw him live in Cleveland on his first solo tour and I was blown away by his effortless vocals.  A tremendous talent gone way too soon.  Below is a piece of artwork I did in his honor.
