You performed very very nicely at Boissy-sans-Avoir for that first "BSA France Festival de CBGuitares"...alone or with LeadFoot and Hamish... i was so happy to meet you...
Thank you very much...like i said to Leadfoot, people loved this festival they want it again already !
Howdy, Nigel, my breeks are hanging on a shakey nail in my workshop but will need to don some trousers for France- not one of the sans- cullottes, mon ami. :-)
oh Forgot to mention to you I have a friend Starting a Blues open mic night at the Marsden hotel. Their band plays for an hour and then they open it up for any to jam. Shes very keen to get the CBG'ers there. The last one was started at 2pm on a Sunday so its good as its a reasonably early night. I'll let you know the date of the next one as soon as I find out.
Ahhh moon dog - I still maintain that he only comes out at Full Moon. I have some pics of him too. This pic is from Thursday night when we were all eager and fresh - lol. The vid is hiding in the 2500 pictures I took at BluesFest but I will get to them. Yeah it was great to catch up. On Friday I went & visited Furry in Nimbin - the time flew just wasnt long enough but after 5 days at BluesFest and another three in Byron home was top of the list.
Yet another top bluesfest, and no rain!!!! Just a quick note to say ta for letting me hang out in between bands. How good are Melbourne Ska Orchestra! Got one last song in at your stall, then went and got all messed up at the staff party. Still feeling the wrath. So damn happy that you almost sold out of guitars again. You deserve it.You're doing beautiful work and I bet you made more than a few people very happy. And got in some real random jams. Onward to next year. Cheers again.
Hey Nigel. Have any stock left after the bluesy? A great time was had by all. Osabisa played at the staff party on a milk crate stage! Huge night.
No reggae tunes but Igot one of those roland battery amps and have been jamming with a couple of mates.Playing cbg and harp, mainly original stuff. Went busking, made$16!
Man, how good were some of the guys that came throgh your stall! Made me want to stop playing. And the quality of your cbg's made me want to stop building! Guess the only way is up....Ta for letting me hang out at the stall- great safe haven on wasted nights.
Mate, it's the bluesy! Get set to get wet!! Happens every year without fail. Also setting up on Wednesday so see you there.( tip- if you're camping, the more north you go, the drier the ground. Stayed in a southern swamp last year!)

Nice meeting you and your family last night at the BSA Cigar Box Fest Nigel. You got some great chops and licks going on man.
Vicky sent me a jam video from the stall via facebook. Only I can't figure out how to get it from there to you. Got a facebook page?
