"That’s usually how you get boxes, but not all stores like to give them for free or sell them for cheap? I get my boxes 10-20 at a time from a store on the net? Usually runs between $20-30"

I live in rural NC and I suggest not to be afraid to go into the new type Tobacco shops sprouting up all over & ask them what they do with their empty cigar boxes? I am trying this approach and will report back in a week as to how it is going. I have great hope!See More

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: From Shane Speal on YouTube

How many instruments have you built so far?: None yet.

What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).: That one can make them one's self and they may be easier to play than a six-string guitar. Also, I am an artist and believe I would LOVE customizing these wonderful blues & roots-type instruments. Need to keep learning more.
