- I've been reading Gregg Allman's "My Cross to Bear" written with Alan Light. I'm simply blown away by Duane Allman's slide in a Statesboro Blues with his take on Taj Mahal's slide work. I'm a disabled Veteran with severe PTSD from 21 yrs military service. I've found more connection with slide then playing traditional guitar progressions. I get a connection from slide to the guitar I'm playing. I wanted to feel that through a CBG and start putting my own together to share with others who may not have the opportunity to enjoy a CBG of their own. I give away a lot of guitars, but I still have around 23 various ones with a couple setup for Open tuning.
