"Your question, is a double edged sword, lol. Lots of ways to go. One would be a bass, probably 2 stringer, and then maybe a standard 4 string. Then if your recording, you would have both at hand."

"Hi, I' not big on tunings although I do use a few. However it will help others if you give an idea of the string configuration's you plan to use, eg: 3-3, 3-4, 3-6, 4-6 etc. Cheers Taff"
