James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Been building and playing Appalachian Dulcimers since 2006. I play melody/drone/fingerdance style mostly, with some noter drone playing on occasion. I enjoy singing and playing the dulcimer, tenor guitar, and tamborine. I especially like the older Gospel and Folk songs. My dulcimer playing consists mostly of playing diatonic fretted dulcimers, in whatever tuning suits the need. DAA, DAC, EBA, etc. I mostly sing and play old time Gospel and/or folk songs, and enjoy messing around with Audacity and recording.I also enjoy going once per month to the local nursing home and singing for the residents there, with my fellow Church members.I also play a little 4-string tenor guitar that I made. I really enjoy playing it. I can only play chords, but it's still a lot of fun.
Husband to Eilene, Dad to Anthony.I'm glad to be here. Good to meet you. In case you haven't noticed I Love Jesus. And I love you. I enjoy serving the Lord, playing and making my Dulcimers and other instruments, (like playing more).

hey man, I love your stuff...top notch__here's that sketch for a 'ETC Banjolectrum' the idea being a bongo head for the soundboard...I drew this a few years before I ever heard of CBGs...had always fantasized about making some instruments...then found out about CBG and took the plunge...have a couple done and several prototypes that just need nuts and bridges and tuners installed...could also make this 'banjolectrum' a 4-stringer...or a dulcimer string set up?
