It sounds good. I'm just about to put in the piezo pickup. I carved it down just enough so it still touches the top of the box. Now if I only get can it away from the kids.

Nice box. How does it sound? does the neck touch the top inside r did you carve it down or something? I'm in the middle of my first build now, a diddley bow for my 4 year old. I'm a complete numnutz when it comes to working with wood and such. It's quite a learning experience for me. How did you thin out the headstock without power tools?
