Bridge saddle slots?

If the string are spaced the same as you have them at the nut and at your tail piece do you need to slot the saddle?

As Wayfinder said, slotting the saddle, moderately, can keep the strings from shifting. But if there is enough break-angle at the bridge, the string tension should keep the strings set well...unless, as Wayfinder noted, when aggressive strumming happens.
