It's been a very long week, lots of S*** has gone down, but in that time I have been doing a lot of drinking and a lot of building.

Behold my Diddley Bows. 9 in total, all made with a Danish Cookie Tin with an Emoji lid, half a broom handle, a piezo and jack and each with a different string gauge or tuning. They are looking and playing really good and sound awesome through the Mustang V1.

and here's the thing, I got more to build, I got 5 more Emoji tins, I'm making at least 2 Chuggers next, Should be fun, a couple Diddley Basses maybe. got a lot to do.

Also, has anyone else tried bulk building these things, is it just me or is it a lot easier to it that way.

!@$@#$ heck, there's danish cookies in emoji lid tins....

I really need to do the grocery shopping more often.. that is hilarious and adorable...

I am loving these.. you got a video or audio file playing them?

Thanks Harold, no audio or clip I'm afraid, haven't got the kit for it.

I usually use my phone for videos, but its a newer android.

I'm not sure what a cheap rig would cost to get audio/video online, honestly.

Where you located mate? I'm out in Utah, if the shipping isn't too horrible and the asking price isn't too crazy I'll buy one of them emoji canjos off you - even unheard.. Just message me on here or email hstubbs3@yahoo.com, maybe we can work a deal...

Then you could put that towards a mic or webcam, or beer, food, whatever. Really I just love how these look and hope they sound as good.

I'm located in the UK I'm afraid to say, the shipping would cost you more than the Diddley Bow.

I think in terms of a cheap rig, at this moment, all I need is a mic to run from my laptop to my amp, the webcam is built in the laptop, so that ain't an issue.

Drinking...no problem, but back away from the cookies, those things will kill you LOL

I've got a ton of tins, some vintage, some not, wife doesn't want most of them any more, so I'm going to get started on those real soon, from round to square to all kinds of shaped and decorative tins, to old cookie tins, tea tins coffee tins(real old) crayola maxwell house animal cracker

Thanks for sharing, haven't build a lot at one time before, but now maybe I will, make a bunch of necks, and go from there. Thanks for the inspiration.

and a bunch more in a bag I haven't unpacked yet since our move 2 yrs ago

the cookies aren't the problem, I ate at least 200 of them in a very short period of time and I'm still down at 15 pounds from the last weigh, its the drinking that is killing me.

damn man, you got more tins than me. May I ask, do you have any which are literally shaped like cookies or biscuits, they look awesome when made into a 6 stringer.

If I may advice, if you have any particularly big tins, it might be worth using them for either Diddley Basses or full sized CBG 's. you get a good sound from tins, almost banjo esque in some places.

Large Walker's Tin, bigger than the last box I made

I love a Walkers Tin, I've had a couple in the last, these are what I've made from them.

Updates people: it has been less than 24 hours and I have already sold one and I am waiting confirmation on an offer for a second. both of them are the laughing into tears Tins.

More updates: I have already started on another 2. These ones are going to be Broom Handle Chuggers and are going to be awesome.

Updates people: I have sold 4 of them already. all three of the laughing to tears tins have gone and so has one of the massive smile ones. I have already got a couple extra tins and broom handles for the next load of builds, so should be fun.
