Robert Johnson used a capo. Guess he was just a wannabe... like that notorious capo user Muddy Waters.
Open D + cap to open E.
Damn... as my daughter say's... NO FAIR!
Oddly enough, I HATE capos!!!

I think all the greats had/used capos. Could be wrong but I've seem clips with them.

Say what, muffinhugger?

Shane Speal... Capo di tutti capi?

Ahhh, Albert.

Good Gawd! Albert played with all sorts of capos. Just looked him up on Google Images -- most show with a capo. Some pics of Muddy with a capo. Clarence Gatemouth Brown. Granted, not all did. I'm sure there was a time when capos were considered bad taste, then ok to use. Depends on the school.

I wonder if its a Texas Blues thing.

Gatemouth introduced the capo to Collins.  Collins' capo was heavily modified with black electrical tape.  He never played without one.  BTW, Collins tuned his Tele to Fmin. chord.

Richard Johnston uses a capo.  Salut.

Richard or Robert? Can't find [many] reference to blues musician Richard.

Stevie Ray use a Capo?  I can't find a picture....  Still look funny as hell....

I might have seen one BUT I can't be sure. I would say for the most part not.
