Just found a site that has plans for building a Cigar Box Fiddle with pictures that take you through all the steps.For anyone interested the addy is www.carolinafiddle.com They are in Pdf form if you want to copy them.

The Uke plans are pretty much the ones I followed to make my Ukulele. There are things left out but enough good info to get the job done. When I get more experience, I'm going to give a fiddle a try.

Found a site called woodgifts.net that have some SWEET wine boxes that would be great for a fiddle.Cheap too.

Nice ukes. I used a bolt-on neck on mine, which is a bit simpler to arrange; seems to work well. I didn't use any bracing; figured four nylon strings were not going to put that much pressure on the top. Guess I'll see.....
