I'm curious about the amp kits.  I've been thinking about ordering a couple, but I'm concerned because my soldering skills are not that great.  What's involved in assembling these kits?

 

BTW, I've only ordered twice from CB Gitty, but I am also very satisfied.

Dave, you need to be able to solder, the amp circuit is already put together, but you'll be soldering the speaker, jack, volume knob, led, etc. They are pretty easy, and you get detailed info with the amp kit. If you decide to build one, put up pics.

I just got a kit, and the only thing that confuses me is the wiring for the input jack.  I'm thinking red wire to the short terminal, ground to the long one.  Is this right?

Thanks Brent, glad they worked out for you! I have to say these little amp boards have really impressed me. I don't know of any easier way to build an amp with better sound!
