i suggested in the other post but i would put the compressor at the begining of the chain. it will bring up the softer notes and even everthing out then drive the distortions harder could give you the crunch you are looking for. 

dleay and reverb at the end of the chain. the order of those is your preference but usually reverb last. 0k just saw the noise gate... quote from sweetwater website

" As a bonus tip, it’s generally best to place any noise reduction processing before delay or reverb effects, as the noise reduction will have a tendency to clamp down on reverb tails and softer echo effects."

Thanks, this helps, since I don't know what I'm doing.  It's helping me correlate what I've seen and heard.
