Part 2.. Fitting the though neck

Hi, if you saw the post on making a through neck then this will all make sense to you. If you did not see it the neck is for an experimental cbg "frank", and it is mainly for testing placement and style of piezo transducer pickups, possibly six in all. that's why I have made the top and neck removable.

I also wanted to test the use of pine timber for a neck, if I'm not happy I can easily swap it for a better neck.

I have not used any bracing so I will also test that out. I must say that after hearing this small box build I have a better understanding when other builders are saying their cigar box built guitars sound "good". I was pleasantly surprised at the tone of this guitar, not loud but a sweet mellow sound. The top is MDF the back is timber.

Anyway here's how I fitted the neck. Enjoy...……….
