Hey guys first post here. I recently purchased a cbg and love it. I find myself playing with it more than my actual guitars. I debated with building one but figured it best to have one i could study before doing my own. Right now i have a box i purchased from ebay on the way. My plans for it are to build a little amp to go with my cbg. However I cant find any small rectangular speakers on cb gitty. Is there another source you have to get them?

You could cut around the "face" graphic leaving a sliver of wood on either side to maintain support and then, use some wire screen or grill cloth to cover the void. Mount the speaker centered with the face graphic's center.
This should act like a Beam Blocker ( https://www.tedweber.com/wbb12-4 ) which may tame some of the shrillness that small speakers have any way... two birds - one stone.

you could try to mount the speaker sideways inside the box then just cut some sound holes in convenient places that keeps your box's graphics in tact.
