my grandfather died last week
then my wife threw me out
we've got three kids together
after 8 years of marriage, she says "i don't want the responsibilities of being a wife anymore"
the marriage over. i spent a week devastated
it's been three weeks now..

i could write a song about it, so what?

i'll be too busy dusting myself off, and writing the next
KICK ASS chapter in my life.

y'all better stand back, because this crow's been down TOO LONG.

FUCK THE BLUES.

I'm about to ROCK.!!!!

no, you're right.
i'm reclaiming my time and my self.

i wrote and recorded one song yesterday
i'm writing another now

i have a muse now, but she lives in canada. you should really hear her sing..!

i'm focusing on myself, and reclaiming all the old friendships i had let wither in the last 8 years. i've had a really good few days, refinding all of my old buddies and girlfriends..

there's been a great outpouring of love/support for me here on the nation, and from other directions i never expected.

but..

don't be surprized if at some point this crow flies WAY north for a few weeks... :D

i got my own time. i got my own life. this is going to be good.

Very sorry to hear about your grandfather, and the situation with your kids (now that the wife has gone psycho) has got to be pretty devastating. Those are the two situations that are permanent, but I believe you can keep good memories of your grandfather, and keep the relationship you want.

As for the rest . . . screw the psycho wife. Just deal with her only when you have to for the kids' sake, but other than that write her out of your life. Stay busy, even when you want to be. The worst part about sadness/rejection of this nature lies in allowing your mind to center on it. Ask yourself, if she's making your life hell, why allow her any space in your brain. i don't buy all the second wife/third wife stuff . . . that should be the last thing on your mind now.

Just rebuild your life in the way you want it. I won't say it's an opportunity, or even anything you wanted, but her actions are allowing you to become whomever you wish.

Just don't listen to any of her shit. I've been divorced since 98 . . . and you couldn't pay me enough to do that crap again. Plenty of women out there, plenty of life out there . . . to hell with those who would try and stifle you, cause you grief, or drag you down.

Good luck, man

"These cbgs are what have kept my head on straight." - That's very Zen from the man in the land of the Rising Sun.

Crow. I know it is hard to do, but keep your head up. I am in a BIG rut right now myself (won`t go into details). Keep yourself busy, and everything will be on the upswing before you know it. These cbgs are what have kept my head on straight. I thank God for it. Keep going and don`t give up.

While I respect all women and have never used a hooker, I have to say this... That image you just drew was beautiful, man *single of joy tear falls* Here's to hoping Crow achieves such a paradise!

Like the old saying goes regarding women . . .
"Can't live with 'em . . . can't sell 'em for enough dough to buy a Winnebago, two dogs, six guitars, a subscription to the hooker of the month club, and a mobile recording studio."
Or something like that.
