Hey guys, Ive built a couple cbg's, and I want to start getting more creative. I see in pictures these silver rings that people put on thier sound holes. What exactly are these, and where can I get some? -Alex

I've seen and used lots of different things for these - shower curtain rings, grommets for tarps or canvas, decorative rings from the scrap book section of the craft store, drawer pulls / door pulls with the bottom cut out... once you get started, soon you won't be able to walk down a store aisle or look into a junk drawer without seeing something that could decorate a CBG. :)
are you referring to the resonator sound hole covers ? stew mac has them
Curtain rings available at craft stores and look in the plumbing isle at your big box stores for crumb cubs and strainers and such. Like Jon said once effectively hooked, you wont be able to look at anything anywhere you go with out figureing out a way to stick it to a cbg
I second what Jon said. I have seen a lot of creative ideas for sound hole decorations on CBN. Once you are in that frame of mind, anything and everything becomes a possibility. My favorite part is the look on someone's face when you tell them what you are going to use it for, Priceless!
Exactly, thanks for the link.
