We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Looks like it's going to be a great time! REALLY looking forward to this event! April May and the June Bugs!!! Totally DIG IT!

Will there be a sign up sheet for open mic? Love to bang out a few songs as well!

No sign out sheet for open mic. We can work you in somewhere I'm sure of it.

For those interested parties, April 18th is the next St. Louis CBG Club meeting, see you there.

Tomorrow 9-11Am Saturday club meeting is on. Be there ready for mind blowing live jams, refreshments and exchange of ideas for up coming festival. See you all there!

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!

I can make it I can actually make it

Had a total blast at this months meeting! Completely inspired. Tessa Your AWESOME! Hope to se ya there again soon. By the way Try tuning a six string to an open F chord and then play 'She Talks to Angels." All the parts are right there and easy to come by. Even the right harmonics! The first two strummed cords, first cord is all open, then add the sixth, fifth and fourth string on the second fret as the pull off cord. The rest will come easy! I'm playing on this now and having a blast! There were all kinds of new faces there. Unfortunately I'm really bad with names. Tessa gave me a business card. That's the ONLY way I could possibly remember her name. Dude on the drums. Totally cool! Hope to see ya next time as well. Be awesome to jam with ya. And everyone else I've missed. My head is still spinning. : )  There was some great music going on!

I second the blast and OMG Tessa, what a set of pipes!

Dude on drums is Kyle Tolie my nephew and he plays Bass and guitar as well. Tim Allen brought some new friends. Met a new guy with blue shirt, talk about bad with names shesh! Was it Mike or Bill? He brought in his 1st CBG ever, we plugged it in and it sounded amazing. Our friends from the St. Louis Harmonica club popped in for the fun. Jeneece Little Brave (famous artist) dropped by to sign up for vendor spot. Sean Oliveira made it out this month, an excellent guitars and friend. Erica Miles (artist/daughter) joined the crowd. Mr.c brought in two fantastic fiddles. Gary and I talked with Bill Kunz about making time for open mic. We will have a signup sheet this year limiting each entry to 10 minutes or two songs which ever comes first.
