Hey guys and girls, looking for a bit of insight here really, I have an acoustic and electro acoustic both with plastic nuts, they both sound crisp and clear as they are but was wondering how much difference a brass nut would make to the resonance. If anyone has any thoughts on this please drop me a line.

brass and  bone are  yummy  ..  but  if  it ain't broke  why    fix it  ?  ;-)

I'm with Pick, just try the brass nut on the next one!

had good results with brass bolt nuts :-)

Cheers guys, thanks for the replies. I'll probably try it when I change the strings, can always change it later on if I don't like it. Any thoughts on weather a change in saddle material would make a difference?

The best of both worlds...the added brass bar adds sustain to the bone nut....
