It was written by Ashley Kizer in about 95. He also wrote the last one I posted called "she came from Memphis". Both are quite dark. This one more than Memphis. Memphis was quite stripped down with one vocal, bass, wurlitzer electric piano, and drums. "As if you knew" has CBG Rhythm, doubled CBG lead, bass, wurli, doubled lead vocals, and several harmony vocals throughout. I am working towards an album. I am about a third of the way there. Feedback is welcome.

Woo Hoo! Combination of Hotel California meets Pink Floyd, is what I hear. Great tune; everything about the mix is soooo clean, and I love the harmony, really thickens the song. Looking forward to the album.
