Anyone else? I hadn't picked up my 6-string but a couple of times before putting together my first primitive CBG a couple of years ago.
Now I'm playing pretty regularly again, and planning on buying a new (or at least different) instrument.
The big Dreadnaught-sized guitar I've got is really causing me a lot of discomfort; I ended up with a wonky shoulder last year and needed cortisone shots.
Wrapping my arm around that big box is a pain. (I can play CBGs all day!)

Got my eye on an "O" sized axe over at the Guitar Center outlet.

hehe! even my Les Paul feels massive and heavy as hell it's like having a Ball & Chain lol!
juju :-)
Playing CBGs has sent me back to 6-strings as well but I don't remember the last time I played one in standard tuning. I plan to start work on a 6-string resonator soon to get into some open tuned blues. I'm sure there are many more of us here that have been revitalized by the spark of creativity that comes with CBGs.
Yeah, no kidding, I almost forgot what my Johnson looked like before I stumbled on the Nation, now I'm working on getting my fingers back on the neck, feels good and I have Shane and ya all at CBN to thank for getting me back to it.

I'm real interested in playing 3 an 4 string Cigar Box Guitar now also, the sound of them with a steel is like some kind of drug, got to have it.

Lou.
They're just so damn fun to play.
