Not two cents worth, but I wouldn't hold you hypocritical about it at all and I doubt anyone else would either. In fact there is a reason some sell and most make. Equally great arguments for both sides.

Anyhow, Good luck and hey, even if you make a fortune, don't give up on selling one every now and then.

I am sure I will still build, and maybe even sell afew on ebay or something every once in while. I just won't be promoting it as a business anymore. It just wasn't much fun after a while.

Hey Eric mate i wish you the best of luck in whatever you do bro , as for the DIY instrument aint that what a CBG is all about ? i know some of us make em fancy some of us make em old looking main thing is is makin them - i dont know it's hard to explain but for me if i was'nt building i'd just be sittin around watchin TV on a evening filling my head with TV crap - at least building get's you mobile up and about using the brain cells and been creative , at least your still gonna be here with us and building for yourself

Everyone needs to follow their own path. What feels right is really important to take note of. You have a lot of friends in the CBG world. Stay in touch. Hope our paths cross again.

Nuthin like business to muck up a good hobby. Joker, I don't know you or your struggles of late...but, I saw you play in Huntsville and was astounded. If you have to re-arrange some stuff to keep your compass pointed in the right direction, so be it. You can't be called a hypocrite in these circles for giving people what they could not give themselves. In my book that's what enterprising Americans do.

Just do the music for you (and share some with us now & then) I look forward to seeing you perform again.
