Well I run an Open Mic night on Saturdays out in California and normally me and Matt (the guy playing lead) play in a small trio and I'll do my own CBG set at some point in the night, but the third guy was out of town this night and Matt decided to join in on my CBG set. This is the 1st song i've played on that little mandolin

Who are you guys?   I love this version of my tune. I play it on a 4 string cbg tuned like a mandolin.

Yeah thats what I love about Gerry's stuff he's got a dark sense of humor but its got a lot of feeling. James I actually recorded the video and an audio track simultaneously so when I cut the video I used the audio recording instead of the cameras audio and just synched up the separate audio with the picture.  Hope we can make that Gerry Thompson tribute happen!

Cris, I checked out some Gerry Thompson, Color of Skys, songs.   Great sound, dark, but good stuff.  You got good taste.

Great song done well.  I don't know Gerry Thomson's stuff, may check it out.  The conversion to mando seems to have worked out well.
