Ok, I'm putting it out here... I've been working behind-the-scenes with York PA businesses and organizations about hosting a massive Cigar Box Guitar Fest at the end of August, 2010.
5th Annual NJ Cigar Box Show at Barrington Coffeehouse NJ
April 24, 2010 from 8pm to 11pm
Featuring SHANE SPEAL, Gerrt Thompson and Arthur Herrmann as THE COLOR Of SKIES. and BEN PRESTAGE. This is in NJ at The Barrington Coffeehouse. 131 Clements Bridge Rd Barrington NJ at 8:00 on Sat. April 24th. Place only holds about 35 people.....tic…

Man, would love to have you out here. I am promising very little though, just a venue and an audience...No budget, not sponsored by anybody, and no big paycheck for me to do any underwriting this time. I'm paying for posters and t-shirts, that's it. Okay, I might e-bay one instrument to prime the pump, but that is all I can afford. Its just like a really cool, all-day open mike actually; one place may pay for people during the evening, I have to see what kind of interest we generate. But, the people are really nice, and the town is pretty hip for such a small one. So far Gerry, its you and Rollie my friend! Come on out! Man, just to have a couple hours of cigar box fun will be worth it for me!
In any case, how nice it is to hear from you anyway! :)
