Wrapping tape round it is a perfectly good remedy. As long as you remember to pass the tape under the strings ! Great song.

Thanks James and BE ,. yes BE the two halves rattled... so I shoved some paper between them and it forced the hinge to break....damn split wood an all.....got tape now to hold it together.... :>(
