Thanks Sammy! Good to hear from you. I've got to find out what the shipping cost is from here to the UK. Shane W has expressed an interest as well and I'd love to do a trade with him.

This style often gets called clawhammer and is quite different from bluegrass "Scruggs" style. I'm betting you'd pick up on it quickly.

Jim you are awesome. Loving that style of yours. I want me a beginners banjo man. Really enjoyed that tune and playing style

Thanks AGP. This one turned out pretty good and I think I'm gonna keep it. Even with the wood top it still sounds like a banjo rather than a guitar tun ed like a banjo!

"Woweeee Jim", I did not expect the quality of the sound that could come out of a timber top Banjo, I do suspect however!!!, that the qualities of the builder and player has something to do with it, love the sound and look, and of course will have to try and build one similar, (can't help myself)

Thanks Maddog. More like a borrower from diverse sources and putting it all together than an innovator.

Always the innovator Jim! Such great sound and a wonderful design, the headstock design, the way the body is put together..........really every single aspect of it. Just a great build.

Playin' ain't too bad either ;-)
