Weary Blues ~ Hank Williams song on CBG and Iowa Saxophone

Sorry about the wind noise.

The snow falls 'round my window
But it can't chill my heart
God knows it died the day you left
My dream world fell apart

Weary blues from waitin'
Lord, I've been waitin' too long
These blues have got me cryin'
Oh, sweet mama, please, come home

Through tears, I watch young lovers
As they go strolling by
Oh, all the things that might have been
God, forgive me if I cry

Weary blues from waitin'
Lord, I've been waitin' too long
These blues have got me cryin'
Oh, sweet mama, please, come home

Thanks, Digly.  Glorious autumn days of late.  Our cats laying in the sunshine and many of the trees in their red and yellow glories.  November just around the corner (Thursday) and winter on its heels.  We had a snow a couple weeks ago, but it is nearly forgotten now.

Nice setting and performance, Uncle John.  Probably the time of year to be heading back indoors now :-)

Thanks, T-Belly.   My memory is quite limited, but I think I will try to keep this song in my small country music section.

LOL, Pick.  But I sure did think it was from Nancy at first look.  Oh.  I read further up that it is a gargoyle.  I should have known.  Thanks, my friend,

Thanks, Dave.  The county museum is 2 blocks away.  There are two log cabins from early settlers and a big modern log cabin exhibit building.  I am a member and music buddy Ted, is a board member.  Ted and I have played there for Log Cabin Days and Ted and friend Doc, for other events.  Nice museum.

So what’s Nancy going to do? Good one Pick. I listened again Uncle. Where is that great building?
