This is my first CBG,eventhought the neck is to thin(it´s difficult to get wood for the neck here in sweden,at least at a decent price),I must say that I´m surprised how good the sound is!This is unplugged,I will post an other video later amped up.There are three people I would like to thank for (via Youtube) for opening my eyes for CBG They are Keni Lee Burgess,Hollowbelly and daddystovepipe! By the way It´s a Corona box oak neck and jumbo frets at a fender scale.

Dear Mr Harvey Thompson,Thanks a lot for the very nice comment! You wrote in perfect swedish to!? I have not decided if i want the piezo to sit as it does(with plastic tape),that was ment to be temporary, but it works ok,my thaught was to tape it with copper shielding tape or box it up in wood and mabye use the copper tape around it,its worth experementing,I dont want to lose the CBG caristic sound. I use an RP1-digitech as my amp(from the late 80s or earlie 90s),that does not feel that "genuine",I saw a guy once at youtube solding cables to the tonehead of an old tape recorder,Id like to try that, but instead sold an input jack to the tone head, and change the case to something nicer..
that's a great first build!!
A pleasure listening to your playing style, Tor. Great resonant acoustic tone, without the amp. (Also look forward to hearing the post with it amped.) Tack!, tack så mycket!
407bug!Thank you! You also made my day and I really like your very fun Ikea comment"!Thanks!
Hey cool sound, that's working a treat...
(is that because Ikea has bought up all your wood and sent it over here... in flat pack format?)
Phillip Robert!Thank you for your the very nice comment! You and all people here have really made my day!
Thank you Jim Morris! People throw away alot here in Sweden to,I will start searhing for tables in the second hand stores(that was a real good tip)! And people are giving away pianos everyday for free, the trouble is just to get it home...Thinking about it,the easyest way would be to saw it down to smaller peaces when picking it up,but Im not sure the one giving it away would like it...Thanks a lot!
glad to see your very good stuff!...°<[:-) [---]==={...
Nice build and nice playing. I live where there's a lot of oak and maple trees but still I find old furniture for cheap sometimes and use a table leg or top if it's solid wood to make an instrument. My first ever build came when an old piano was thrown out and I took it apart for wood. It even had ebony black keys which I'm still using for nut material. I don't know if Sweden is as much of a throwaway society as U.S. but here you can do a lot with what others toss on the scrap heap!
Uncle John! Thank you! Playing CBG is greate,I have a lot of practicing to do,but it seems like the way to go is to just play, and I`ve got the "feeling" that there are "melodys in the CBG trying to get out from it...Mabye a "spaced out" thaught, but thats the way it feels.
