Unwanted Noise?
One evening a few months ago I was having a play on the 3 string CBG Mr Random Writings made me. I was messing about using lots of delay and accidentally hit the box and really liked the sound. This got me thinking and I decided I wanted to record something just using what people often call the “unwanted noise” that a piezo picks up. I mean who decides what is unwanted noise???….. what are weeds???…which animals are pests etc etc.
Anyway I finally got round to recording something : -) I didn’t “play” the guitar in the usual sense, but was tapping the box, tapping the strings, sliding my finger along the strings and singing into a sound hole.
The film is of a beautiful mystical place called Llanddwyn Island on Anglesey in North Wales

Excellent, very atmospheric. I too discovered these effects by accident, the humble piezo seems to have a lot of potential.

thanks Jim and David...ha I'm guessing for Lord of The Rings it was something a bit more hi tech than someone tapping on their CBG,lol!!
