Uncle John & bemuzic duet - Glory, Glory Hallelujah Since I Laid My Burden Down

This is an old American spiritual song and has been recorded by many people.
The earliest recording I've heard of is by The Elders McIntorsh and Edwards' Sanctified Singers in 1928, then there were many others, including Odetta, Mississippi John Hurt, Furry Lewis, Mississippi Fred McDowell...and finally Uncle John & bemuzic!!!
I would never have thought of singing this type of song, but had fun doing it : -)

I've been a bemuzic fan since she first came on the nation.  It was fun getting to do this project with her and a thrill to see and hear the video.

I made my part of the video and sent it to Be.  She did her part in a similar room and chair and with a hat and recorded it so it seems we are in the same room and not thousands of miles apart.

Getting to know her a bit,  she is as we all suspected - a sweet, good, creative and caring person.  And she looks good in a hat!

Thanks to bemuzic and to all of you.

John

That's just superb! Hats off to both of you, an excellent duet! You compliment each other and really play that classic tune extremely well. It was a pleasure to hear.

Ya converted me, folks (from WHAT, ah don't know LOL). Nice work, Belinda and ma favorite Unk.

BTW, maybe you could try matchin background. YOUR wall with guitars on it Belinda, ta match uncle John's.

OK, STILL would be a "split screen!, but would give illusion of ya both in same room (or use photoshop). Just a thought, guys. I'm not up on "editing" etc, so just ignore me LOL
