Some builds sound better than I expect, some sound worse. This one sounds exactly like I thought it would - like a tin fiddle! Almost like a Stroh violin typ...

Thanks Willardj and ED. Thanks SlowHound - since moving to WV about 11 years ago I've really gotten immersed in this old time music. I was lucky to move to an area that has a thriving group playing this music and some of the best fiddlers in the world live around here and are happy to show stuff to youngsters like myself! Oh I still play some rock and blues but man carrying amps and PA stuff around and wearing ear plugs isn't where my heart is anymore.
