Thanks Andries. Will definitely keep playing it. The problem is i can't seem to put it down haha. Thank you for seeing the progress. Not sure I'd win any medals yet unless it was a medal for enjoying playing most. :0)

Thanks Andries and Derek. Good to see you're both still here.

The body (box) is some 10mm hardwood but the plate, which takes up almost all the front of the guitar, is steel, Andries.

Glad you both like it. I've decided I want burying with it when my time comes haha.

Thanks Dennis. Nice to hear good things on the playing/picking. I didn't build this one but have swapped out a homemade humbucker and added in the Lace resonator pickup. Sorry if I gave the impression of building the guitar. Got it on eBay and ended up paying more than the asking price because I very willingly pawned my iPad to buy the guitar. Just absolutely fell in love with it. I get my iPad back in a couple of weeks too. Win/win.
