For those who are not familiar with “The Painting Box”, it was a folk/rock opera I wrote in 1987 part of which was performed in a church setting in London over Easter 1988. This is one of the songs from that project – for the church version “elves” was changed to “lamb”! It was originally acoustic but I decided to rock it up a bit.
