I once saw Deep Purple perform on a rain-soaked stage at a Festival where Ritchie Blackmore was wearing Wellington boots - everyone was waiting for him to end in a flash! (-;

Great comments all thanks. When we were gigging in the 80's there were many scare stories abot such things and I always had our roadie (my office assistant who was good with electrics!) touch everything once it was switched on - hey he plugged it all in so it was down to him!
