Have you tried the Vox VDL-1 Looper?

It's excellent, you can record two separate loops, and it has built in effects, but the really cool thing is ... it also has built in "after" effects. Which means you can record a loop, then add various effects using the built in expression pedal and it will overdub whatever movement you make. Highly recommend getting one !!  Love the beer glass filling gismo below... want one of those :O)
