Thanks Wade, for the kind words AND helping bring the guitar's truest voice to fruition. I'm overjoyed with the pickup and really glad to have been able to add one of your fantastic gold foil wonders to this build. The perfect pairing! 

Twelve strings is six strings too many, to misquote Del Puckett. I love double set strings and I'm really glad that I went with 6 from a set of twelve strings this time rather than two sets of six marginally sharp and flat. It really does make a difference but in this game it's all about personal preference and what fits each build, right?

Bravo! The plexi cover with lights gives it a hot rod look.  Plus it's got a 12 string blues vibe with only half the tuning machines!!!

Thanks Poorness Studios. I'm sure it's probably been done before but I appreciate your kind words. Difficult to come up with a truly original design nowadays with there being such an extensive history to making these guitars. I definitely enjoyed building something different for me this time though. Really enjoyed it.

Thanks AGP. I'm glad that you like it. Your kind words are much appreciated. That's the thing about CBN though, everyone's so nice. You hear on the news about all this cyber bullying going on yet here I don't think I've ever had a cross word said to me.

Thanks BrianQ. To be honest I had a lot of mishaps, mess ups and absolute nightmares during this build and I've had to reorder and redo many parts throughout. Some plain silly mistakes like not measuring first before purchasing (and I definitely don't have anything near like being able to spend with ease) and some mistakes because it was my very first time working with the material (for example the lights and the acrylic perspex on the faceplate). Still, I'm very happy with the end result so all part of the learning process.

Thanks again for the kind words and also for the help and advice last night. Taught me something I had no idea about and I appreciate that.
