just how it worked out  .  i had no concerns  of matching to the poles   cause  the mag field radiates outwards and it really does not matter  much   they will still pick up  the string even between the poles  .  even  the slant on the  front 2  pups is factory to  the plate   behind  it  . so    it was not  slanted   by   me for that reason either  .

Oh yeah, I also meant to say that it seems like 3 strings over a 6 pole pup works real good. It looks like the strings were carefully placed very nearly directly over 3 of the poles. Or was that just how it worked out?
