Im surprised Uncle that you were able to fit everyone and everything in that bus. Be careful in Mexico, a couple of guys could walk away with your bus. Wes, Maddog, and Dave besides having questionable past encounters in Mexico, probably just needed to stretch a bit.

Progress report:  The Iowa and 'freinds' bus is just pulling up to the border.  All of us except Wes, Maddog and Dave Lynas are crossing over into Mexico for some fun and to get a load of Mexican beer.   It seems as though Wes, MD and Dave Lynas had previous 'incident' in Mexico and can not go back.  Hmm.  Let that be a cautionary tale to us all.  Looking good to be a Cigar Box point Thursday night or early Friday.  Having some fun jams on the bus.  Adios, amigos.

To promote the fest,  the Uncle John's Pawn shops have arranged a lunar eclipse that can be seen by much of the world.  Should be real good over western California between 0451 and 0630 on Wednesday.  Check out the times for your own areas.    This is not a virtual eclipse.  This is an ACTUAL eclipse.

It is also a blue moon - second moon of the month and a super moon - close rotation to and will make the moon appear extra large.

Remember Uncle Johns for your pawn and bail bond needs.

I’m glad I didn’t write feel! It’s a long road, anybody traveling somewhere near Wes so as to restock his goober peas......................sorry Wes, maybe pickup some chickpeas. Uncle, I’m sure the ding rod rod malfunction is nothing a few pharmaceutical remedies could take care of. I’ll maybe I should do the supply run to  Tijuana, met you at destination #2. Ha! Dave’s Bronco saving the day! Maddog, that was funny as all hell! I think that’s a good idea Uncle,  that amp blows! OK five songs will work, maybe sneak the five you know in twice! That’ll work, by 7pm, all the Canadian And Mexican beer will be consumed. Easy crowd, right! Wes, perfect! A tangerine leisure suit, and a flute, doesn’t get any better!

We are slowed down, MD, but hope to make it by shortly after noon.  The bus had a major dingfod rod malfunction.  We started out towing Dave's Bronco and now the Bronco is towing the bus.  It's danged hard to keep that log chain tight and we are holding steady at just under 30 MPH / 50 KPH. 

Hey, man.  Do you think we can put that amp in the back of the bus, open the door and have it blast us down the road?  Wes has a leisure suit pocket full of 9V batteries.   He's got him an accent.  He says, "bat-trees."

Not an auspicious start.   Richard, I hope we get there in time.  Richard, I only know 5 songs, so make my time slot short.  The songs should average 2 minutes and 30 seconds, but they get shorter when I forget a verse and chicken out on doing an instrumental.   Have Dave, Wes, Kevin or MD take longer slots.  Oh, Wes prefer's the Disco stage.  He has a swell leisure suit.  I think he called the color 'tangerine'.
