good work on the build and the sound you get out of the box and the style you are playing spencer. like the chops, if you have a good time, you are right about that is what counts,and just starting means lots more good times with building and playing.

Cogdell, I just used about a .30 15mm piezo on it and superglued it on the bass side of the bridge. I get alot of body sound with that, but up until this build it hasnt bothered me cuz I'm still learning. I'm going to be cleaning it up and working it out today.

I'm curious what you've been doing that you're having trouble getting good sound. I doubt its the wiring...I'd say its either the placement, the way you adhere it, or a bit of both. Go ahead and drop a reply and we'll see if we can talk through it a bit. If you dont see me round, ask in chat...I'm just an amateur, those guys are pros.

Spence , Like the way you put that plate on the tail piece where the string come out , should keep them from cutting the wood so bad . Great sounding box . What kind of pickup and where did you place it . I'm having trouble getting good sound from mine don't know if it's where i'm putting it or the wiring ? Good job ....
