Sounds like the intonation ain’t quite right. Your voice is right on but the didly sounds a little off. Might be at the nut. It’s hard to sing the melody and play it in unison.

Thanks, Richard.  No true frets, just markers at the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 12th - where I need them most.   This poor diddley is pretty nice but does not get the attention she deserves.  She whispers, "Play me or send me to live with nice people.'
